Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ZAGREB

Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, meet our representative who will direct you to your transfer. Check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.   Overnight in Zagreb. 

DAY 2 : ZAGREB – BLED – LJUBLJANA (250 KM – 3 HRS)

After breakfast enjoys a morning sightseeing tour of Zagreb. Croatian capital city gives you the opportunity to see the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical center, St Mark’s church with its multi-colored roof, the Cathedral, Croatian National Theatre, and the University. Depart to Bled, a small town in the Julian Alps that could be a setting for a classic fairy tale: immense natural beauty with mountains and forest surrounding an emerald glacial lake. Dinner and overnight in the Ljubljana area.  Overnight in the Ljubljana area.

DAY 3 : LJUBLJANA – PLITVICE (270 KM – 3.5 HRS)

Enjoy breakfast before the morning guided tour of Ljubljana, the Slovenian capital where you will see the most significant sights of its old center: the picturesque Central, open-air Market and the Three Bridges, the Baroque Town Hall, and Robba’s Fountain. After Ljubljana, we are continuing our journey to Plitvice lakes, a well-known UNESCO World Heritage Site, the natural beauty of the 16 crystal-blue lakes cascading into 92 spectacular waterfalls. Walk on the wooden promenades with magnificent views of the waters where every turn leads to breathtaking scenery and yet another waterfall. Surrounded by dense woods, Plitvice lakes are a natural phenomenon of rare and unique beauty.  Overnight in Plitvice. 

DAY 4 : PLITVICE – ZADAR – SPLIT (300 KM – 3.50 HRS)

Morning departure towards Zadar, where upon arrival we’ll be taking you for a guided walking tour through the Roman Forum from the 1st century BC, passing by the 9th century pre-Romanesque church of St. Donatus as well as St. Anastasia church. Next, depart to Split. This afternoon our guide will uncover for you the secrets of the UNESCO-protected Diocletian’s Palace and its cellars. The narrow streets of Split hide passageways and courtyards, some deserted and eerie, others lively and animated by the music from bars and cafes, or by the everyday life of its residents.   Overnight in Split.

DAY 5 : SPLIT – DUBROVNIK (230 KM – 3 HRS)

After breakfast, depart to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided city tour of this UNESCO-protected Pearl of the Adriatic and its Cathedral. Regardless of whether you are visiting Dubrovnik for the first time or the hundredth, there’s that sense of awe when you set eyes on the beauty of this old town. Immerse yourselves into the symphony of the city’s marble streets, baroque buildings, and the endless shimmer of the Adriatic.   Overnight in Dubrovnik.

DAY 6: DUBROVNIK

Spend the day at leisure exploring Dubrovnik or go on an optional tour to Korcula Island or Montenegro and its Bay of Kotor (these optional tours can be booked on spot).  Overnight in Dubrovnik. 

DAY 7 : DUBROVNIK DEPARTURE

Wake up to one last breakfast at the hotel and spend time at your leisure before check-out. At an indicated time, transfer to Dubrovnik Airport to continue with your travel arrangements.

What do I need to bring?

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for traveling in Croatia. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts, or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat, and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
